Hi. I recently got a new smart android tv by Hisense. I don’t have a streamer. Someone recommended to me web video cast for casting videos to the TV. Any other good apps you guys can recommend? I never actually owned an android tv before and would like to know what’s available.

I recommend airsceen app if you have a iPhone/iPad/Mac and you wanna airplay to your tv. Not as good as it being natively integrated but just launch the app and your good to airplay to your tv. Works great. It’s also on fire tv devices if you have one as well.

Most android tv devices have Chromecast built in. And most multimedia app on mobile devices (especially Android) have Chromecast integration to cast to the TV.
For stand alone apps on TV, I recommend Crunchyroll, YouTube and Twitch, as they have free tiers for you to watch content.
