Google Duo on Cromecast + Google TV in Australia

Hi all, has anyone got a dinifitive answer as to what works (Web cam + usb hub) to get Duo working through a Cromecast + Google TV in Australia?

I've seen a bunch of posts saying particular webcams / hubs don't work or are buggy. Happy to buy something but don't want to spend too much unnecessary but also don't want to waste money on something which doesn't work.

Also seeing a few dedicated products come out like the Facebook portal. Is there anything like this for Google for the Australian market?

Don't have a camera set up with my tv for Duo so can't speak to that but we use a Nest Hub Max for making Duo calls as it has a built in camera.

It's on our kitchen counter where we have stools so works well enough if you can sit close enough to the smaller screen.

edit: located in Australia too and mostly calling family in France for what it's worth.

As long as you buy a Logitech C-(something), you should be fine. In general the webcam need to support the USB Webcam protocol (all Logitech cams do)

I tried using a webcam and duo on a Shield. Image was fine, but the mic didn't work. Not sure how it would work with a Chromecast, the one I have has no USB ports.
