My Father asked me for advise about which TV suits most to use with his m3u list to watch 1080p or even 4k streams?
He just wants to have one remote and get rid of the second remote which is used.for the android tv boxes.
The issue is I dont want to advise a tv which should be around 1000$ as for his Budget with 75 inch screen which will be to weak to play high resolution content.
Do you have any advise? How can I know how powerful the computer of a TV really is?
I don't know of one off hand, but it may difficult to find one. Even if there was a TV with a powerful enough processor, the app support for TVs quickly drops off once the next year's model comes out.
A lot of the good streaming boxes will also control basic TV functions through CEC; power and volume. Nvidia Shield is one, and that streaming box is pretty much the undisputed king in both processor power (the Pro model) and long term support.
