I set up my tivo stream 4k today... But I repurposed the remote already for a different project I'm working on... I am able to control through cec but I was hoping to be able to control with my phone using the Android TV remote that's built into the Google TV app... But it doesn't seem to see the tivo.... Anyone have any luck with this?
My plan is to take the tivo with me when I travel so I have something to stream on in the hotel room, but the less things to throw in my bag, the better...
You would need a physical remote to connect to the hotel wifi anyway so not really a choice there. Phone remote only controls things after it's already connected to wifi. My phone sees the TS4k fine. Maybe yours needs a restart.
