I have a Toshiba Fire TV that is only used for running my Shield. To keep it short, CEC is inconsistent and sometimes wants to just show the home screen instead of changing to the last used input. Which CEC should handle this but rarely does.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a custom ROM or other solution to strip all the Amazon out of this TV?
What happens when you turn off CEC. There is not likely to be somebody working on a custom ROM for a random Fire TV model.
