Hi. Ever since I bought my Sony ag8 android tv i couldn’t access the storage in settings, for some reason I always get kicked out. Now that I’m trying to add a usb drive for storage, i put the drive into the usb slot and when the option to use for storage pops up I select it and it just closes straight away without loading or anything. I’ve tried 3 different usbs, 1Tb, 256gb & 16gb. Has anyone ever had this issue that would have a solution?
I dunno.. I live in Canada and last summer bought a Sansui 55" 4k hdr android tv for 450 delivered and tax... higher specs than most of that tech android tv 9
Google certified 4k Netflix etc
Only had 4gb storage I use a 32gb usb and everything moved/installed on it just fine I stream 4k within Kodi and have iptv that I run in tivimate
Some android tv if not change the usb format to fat32 You will lose the access
I have a nvidia sheild and i format my 5to to exfat and its working good,. I use vlc.
very few apps support USB storage on my Sony ATV, and none of the common mainstreaming apps... . but on my TV, when I click storage on unsupported apps, the TV just ignores the click and remains calm, there is no popup or cold shoulder.
