Currently I'm using Mi TV Stick with Xtrons CM136HD roof monitor in my car. I noticed when I pull out the usb power, my Mi TV Stick is not turning off. So to test, while usb is not plugged in, I turn it on again and it works. I didn't try to play any movies though, scared damaging it. Any thoughts?

My guess is that the monitor's HDMI port is an MHL port.

How are you powering the Mi?, if it's through an accessory output on the car then you'll need to swap it for a power source that turns off when the ignition is off.
