I'll try that. Basically it's the same than pulling the plug because I can't turn the power off before it closes.
I think there's something wrong with doing it because people give me minus votes. Or why they do that?

Well, Android TVs (or any other modern day TVs) don't really have a shutdown state, they are usually in a Standby mode, and ready to resume.
