Currently,I have a Sony Bravia XBR-55X700D with GoogleTV. This TV is pretty slow to navigate around the menus. I was hoping someone could point me to a list of TVs with their benchmarks or processor specs. I checked the link in the info bar here but the TV section is blank.
Google Chromecast with Google TV. Works well, good remote. I have a couple. Almost as good as Nvidia's shield but less than half the price.
Just plugin a Firestick 4k max. You won't regret it.
That was a low end tv even when it was new. Any new Sony tv will run and look immensely better. If you're fine with the current picture quality, as others said, just add a streaming device if your choice.
If you want to upgrade the picture quality as well, it's the best time of year to buy a TV as all the 2021 models are currently clearancing out in preparation for the new ones.

All the Smart TVs are crap. Get one with the best screen specs and use an external streaming device. TVs rarely get updated. The hardware outlives the software support by decades.
External devices are relatively inexpensive compared to the TV. And once they go EOL for software support are relatively inexpensive to replace
I have 2 Mecool KM1s (4g memory, 32g storage) $80 and 1 Onn Android TV from Walmart (2g memory, 8g storage) $20. The onn is snappier but don't tell Mecool.
Firestick 4k max is the best, with AV1, WiFi-6, and Auto Frame Switching function. Pretty worthy for a long-term use.

Nvidia shield is goat of android tv. Have had it since 2018 and it’s still amazing in terms of performance and usability. Gaming on it is also dope but highly dependent on a very good internet connection. Have not yet found a tv with android built in that is worth a dime.
