Hey again!
Do you think I am going to watch movies more smoothly now that I have bought a SSD? I mean, do you think I will be able to play 4K webrip/web-dl and 4K blurays through the SSD directly on my 4K tv? I mean because the SSD is much faster than my HDD!
If so, what media player app do you recommend on android TV? What player plays movies most smoothly, and what player is good for 4K local content? If this won’t work smoothly either, then what is is the best way to watch local movie content (without using chromecast).
So should I get a Nvidia shield pro, is that the only choice to secure that I will be able to watch 4K smoothly?

If your Android TV is 4K HDR (and it’s not an entry level version) you should have no problem to play standard 4K HDR with standard audio. Move to Dolby Vision and/or Dolby Atmos and things are not so straightforward anymore.
As for the apps to use, you can start with the one provided by your TV manufacturer (if there is one) and VLC
