Any way to flash new Android or change language on Hisense Viddá Smart TV?

Hi,

I hope this is the right sub.

So recently i got 7 Hisense Viddá 50V1F-R 50 inch smart TV's. However, they are all in Chinese. At least the Android OS is. When it starts up it says powered by Android.

I have been through all the settings i could find, but no where to change the language. I think it might be a Chinese custom image or something like that.

Is it possible for me to flash another Android SmartTV version on the TV somehow? If so, how?

Searching up that particular model it seems to be aimed at the Chinese market, so it may not even have any other languages available. It's not even running Android TV OS/Google TV, it seems to be running its own OS based on regular Android.

It's not possible to flash Android TV on it. You could alternatively get a proper Android TV box (eg CCwGTV) and plug that into the HDMI port if you still like the rest of the TV.
