ONN android remote reset and use it with Nvidia Shield

I brought Onn streaming device to use its remote with Nvidia Shield. Shield recognized the remote very first time, but after that it doesn't connect to it. I could not find any way to reset the Onn android tv remote. It is the white bluetooth remote which somewhere I read is based on Google G10 android remote. Please let me know if someone knows how to reset this remote, and if anyone has been able to use it with Nvidia Shield?

Hold home + back until the led flashes. Also, it might be worth it to setup the Onn device so it can update the remote firmware.
