Hi, I should record some TV programs on free channel (broadcast). Is there an app for doing so? Maybe with time schedule.
I was thinking about some screen recorder apps, but I did not find anything useful in the Playstore and on Google.

For TV, you can look into https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.getchannels.dvr.app , I think there is a free trial. You might end up happier with an Amazon Recast.
If you have a ota tuner card for PC, you could also record to PC then pull up with TV apps over your local network (Plex, VLC, etc.). Happy to elaborate here if needed.
If you're recording hd ota, note it can take up a lot of space quickly.
Most channels include a flag called HDCP that prevents recording a video stream on a external device. So you may not be able to record them anyway.
Your average AndroidTV hardware doesn't use the OS to decode the incoming signal. The hardware ATSC tuner in the TV converts the incoming signal directly to an output format that is fed directly to the screen as if it were coming from a different input port.
