Apps missing every time I turn on TV, and I have to do a reset and they're back until next time.

I have a Sony KD-55X80J Google TV, and when I turn the TV on I see the top line of my apps. The "See All" option is missing and I have to reset from the settings menu and they come back. This used to happen once in a while but now it's every time.

It wouldn't be quite as annoying if when I reordered my apps they stayed that way. But they always get re-ordered with the stock apps at top.

Anyone else having this problem? Any solution besides a factory reset? This seems to have started after the latest software update.

Install a custom launcher...or wait for Sony to fix their problem.

I literally had the same problem! My modded and side loaded Apps would disappear from the home page. So I downloaded “Nebula Manager” from The Play Store (it’s free). It fixed my problem without installing a new Launcher. Hope this other option helps mate!

This happens on my x95g as well. but only for apps on the external storage.
