How to fix bluetooth headset audio delay

Hi guys,

i ve got an android tv from Xiaomi (Mi PI TV 32) and when i try to connect my airpods via bluetooth to the tv, i feel a little bit of delay between audio and video, expecially when using netflix. Is there any way or app that allows me to adjust the audio delay or that can fix this problem?

You're limited by the codecs/protocols. Unless the both support a low-latency standard like Aptx, there's no way to improve the delay that I'm aware of

If there's an HDMI lip-sync correction option on your TV, it can used to delay the video a bit. Most TV's don't have this feature, but some do.

I've seen that feature mostly on AV Receivers.
