TV manufacturers, in their infinite wisdom today still put ~8GB of storage and ~1GB of RAM.
On first boot the hardware can struggle as updates are downloaded and installed
Remove/disable every app you don't use (including assistant if you don't use voice), disable the 'smart' broadcast TV features, clear apps with big caches, reboot, give it a while to finish updating
That's why I'll never buy a tv that depends so much of an OS
what android version is this
When did it come out
This just happened to my Sony x900f purchased in 2018. Factory reset didn’t help it actually made it worse, now the TV power cycles constantly (can’t even stay off) on top of the original issues. So disappointing.
I have an LG NexGen TV and everything works fine for me. What brand is yours?
Like someone else said the easiest fix is a factory reset. It is recommended after major updates (like from Android 9 to 11).
A few things to test before that:
Factory reset turn off internet and get a formuler or buzz device or at least a 2nd gen cube.
I know this might sound obvious, but have you tried a complete restart yet? I sometimes have issues with apps crashing on load after the TV hasn't been rebooted in a while. A reboot typically fixes the problem. On my TV, I can hold down the power button on the remote control and then select "restart".
You've replied to people yet ignored everyone saying factory reset.
Yes it might be a pain to set it up again, but it's less of a pain to do that than deal with those crap you have going on. Just reset it.
Xiaomi?
Get a roku, and block your TV from your internet (macid).
