Should I give my parents my CCGTV or Mi Box S?

I've been conflicted on what one to use, especially I've been having trouble with tv audio with the mi box.

Do they need Hulu? For some reason Hulu won't install on the MiBox S (listed as incompatible), but it was months ago that I tried, so that might have just been a bug?

CCwGTV seems more reliable.

Would go with the CCGTV. We now have 3 of them and they are excellent.

Mi box S is so slow

I've got a Mi Box S and absolutely love it with no issues. Guess it's a mixed bag, or you guys get a different spec in the US.

I’m honestly constantly annoyed with my CCGTV. Starting with constant wifi drops on “smart networks” with the same SSID to now having issues with apps just not opening at all. If there’s a third option I might go with that.

I had the same choice about a half a year ago and gave them Mi box S.

Benefits:

  • Voice searching inside all the apps from the home screen
  • USB port, so I connected a webcam and able to call them via Google Duo
  • The interface is more friendly due to the popular content on the home screen
