The KM7 comes with a netflix app that is kinda decent. It is not the official android tv version, but it is about the best custom tablet version that you'll ever come across. It is customized enough to not require a mouse to navigate it, it works with the stock remote.
The video quality seems better than SD. It is probably 720 or maybe 1080 for some content.
The app is not part of the ROM. It appears that they install it as an app at the factory. So, you'll lose it if you do a factory reset. So, make a copy of both (2) apks it uses before you do a factory reset.
After a firmware update my KM7 is stuck on the pair remote device screen (Volume- and OK simultaneously). All it does is blink the red LED on the KM7 remote. No other options are available. Pressing settings will come up briefly but return the the add device remote screen. Unplugging/re-plugging the KM7 returns back to the same screen. I don't want to do a factory reset if it removes option for Netflix as mentioned below.

I had just received a new KM7 device I ordered, and unlike the previous one I already had at home, this one came preinstalled with a Netflix client...(!).
Looking at the details of the app it shows up as v1.4 of com.netflix.mediaclient
Has anyone seen anything similar?
Netflix HD only works for Netflix certified devices. If it's not on the list, it will only play SD.
There is nothing an end user can do to change or fix that, as it's decided at Netflix's end.
