a Shortcut maker for Android tv

by lpuglia

Hello guys, I'm trying to understand if there is an app for Android tv that mimics the phone app "Shortcut maker". I'm already using "Sideload Channels" to show some apps but it's not as powerful as Shortcut maker. Basically i would like to be able to add an Android activity rather than a android app to one of the channels of my TV. Shortcut maker does an amazing job at this on the phone but it is not really compatible with Android tv homescreen.

Does anyone know if there is an app that add a channel to the home screen and allows me to call an Android activity? Thanks!

Can what you trying to do be done with google assistant? I programmed a bunch of google routines and use my google home to run them via voice.

This works for me. But it's not as easy as long-pressing an app and making a shotcut. You have to click each app and search by trial/error on which com file executes the command shortcut you want to invoke. Once you do find it though, it works like a charm!

Probably Tasker can. Create a task (Shortcut), and then export it as an app using tasker app factory.
