I managed to sideload it using downloaded but I can't click anything, can't even login, the cursor is moving with the remote but the OK button isn't working to activate the icons.

You might be able to click it with a Bluetooth mouse to sign in. You need a proper gamepad anyways to play the games.
I picked up an Xbox one Bluetooth controller and it's F'ing awesome with gamepass ultimate. The only action that didn't work is exiting a game, and and I fixed that with Buttons Remapper by Irishin in the Play Store. I am smitten with how seamless it works its like owning an xbox without needing to buy one.
Why not just go to Xbox.com/play
