So since about 2021 Google released a reference G10 remote which many companies (ONN, mecool) have used for their Google TV devices.
I am interested in the Realme remote which appears fairly similar in that it's BT+IR combination and it's featured on the Realme stick Google TV device, which is a clone of the mecool kd3, which are almost clones of the CCwGTV.
Anyway, I want to get this remote to use with my Android TV devices or maybe my CCwGTV. Do you think it would work?
I don't know about the Realme remote but I use a remote from a Walmart ONN box with my CCwGTV and all the essential buttons work,... Power, volume, input, Dpad, Back, Home, channel +/- & Watchlist button all work. Fast app buttons at bottom & Settings button don't.
FYI, they are entirely not compatible with Chromebooks and Chromeboxes. The center button, which you use for pretty much everything, doesn't work at all. This is true for all Android TV remotes, including the Shield remote from all generations as well as the Nexus Player remote. The bug has been reported to them for more than a year, they just don't care.
If it Bluetooth It will work with any device in have a firestick remote hooked I'm to My Nvidia Shield 2019 and Nvidia Shield remote hooked up with the CCWGTV
I have the Realme stick and it's just a bluetooth remote that should work on any ATV device but I haven't tested out.
What do you need from the remote exactly, the four buttons?

You could always do it the other way around. I use these with my Shields and use regular remotes. Since the newer shields don’t support IR. *no USB port on the tube shield so this won’t work with that but this little device is awesome. Program it to receive the IR from any IR remote and perform any actions.
I wish the CCWGTV remote looked like that. Although the streaming app buttons are in a bad place.
