Full remote control for Android TV

by DanTheNexusMan

Is there any Android TV box (or stick) with a full remote control similar to the one that comes with the Nokia Streaming box 8000 ?

Alternatively, is there a similar standard Bluetooth remote control that will (should) work with a standard Android TV system. It seems that the best for that would be something like Google's G20 concept remote control , but unfortunately it seems not to be currently available to the general consumer .

(I know I posted something similar a short while ago, but I wanted to edit and couldn't work out how 🙁)

The Osprey box from AT&T has a full remote.

Yes, I'm just going to join this thread. I'd need full remote for MiBox S for my parents haha.

Few Android TV apps support number buttons so few device remotes have them. I think the Tivo Stream 4k remote has numbers

The Tivo Stream 4K sports a remote with numbers and stuff. They work well in IPTV programs such as Live Channels or Tivimate

The G20 is (or was) sold standalone by some vendor on amazon. It is listed somewhere on amazon-uk, amazon-de, or amazon-fr. I forget exactly where I saw it, even though I made a note of it and saved the url in a text document - which I can't find now.

The remote that comes with the gen2 verizon stream tv is pretty full featured. It has numeric keys. a play/pause key, and rew/ff keys. I'm currently using it with a mecool box. All the keys that should work do work.

I was able to get a bunch of the gen2 verizon boxes on ebay at relatively low prices. There doesn't seem to be that many listings for them right now.

Other than that it is slim pickings for bt android tv box remotes. And not every one that might look interesting will always work on the desired device. I learned all of this the hard way.
