Is anyone aware of any certified android tv devices, other than the nvidia shield or the askey adt-3, that have pushed an ota update to Android 11 (from an earlier version)?
I've recently manually upgraded a device from 10->11, and found the process to be quite perilous. I'd like to see an updater-script from an ota, in order to see how it's done via that method.
After seeing the trouble Android 11 caused Nvidia, I don't expect any of then to do it. It may launch on some new generation of devices but I don't think many of these budget device OEM's provide the resources to develop and support Android version updates. XDA Developers is probably the place to find that kind of info though. If it can be done somebody there has done it.
The Onn hasn't gotten it as of yet but rumor is it's coming which is a huge surprise
Xiaomi stick 4K is Android TV 11 out of the box.
I haven't used my projector Epson EF-12 for maybe 2 months and it got updated from 9 to 11 yesterday.
The only two Android TV boxes I've seen updated from a previous Android version to Android 11 are:
The Nvidia Shield
The Mecool KA2
Some televisions have been upgraded to 11 as well but I ignore the make and models.
