None of the major browsers have an Android TV version. You can sideload one of necessary. I use the TV Bro browser in the Play Store
mozilla discontinued it. firefox tv hasn't been supported since april 30th 2021 & it's repo is archived. you can sideload the apk, but given that it hasn't had any updates, security or otherwise since then I'd recommend instead just moving on to another browser. one I use now is tv bro, its ugly imo but it works well & has the best functionality out of android tv browsers atm. also unlike the other spammy tv browsers has no ads or tracking
I've used Puffin browser
I am guessing It's because every app that goes into the play store has to agree to block playback of YouTube outside of the app (meaning no iframes and such)
You can also download it from Aptoide app store, they have an ATV version which is quite easy to use and navigate
As for why, developers have to submit their apps specifically to the TV Play Store. Firefox has never done that.
Sideload
No popular web browsers are available on Android TV, not just Firefox
You can sideload FirefoxTV which is a FireTV app. It is no longer supported but still works fine. It also works with the remote control.
