Wow. Unnecessary. Button mapper, anyone?
Bro you can install a button mapper app and Assign those buttons to other apps like stremio or tivimate.
That was dumb
Branded buttons are my pet peeve
I previously posted about re-wiring the app buttons to control the volume instead, and I was ridiculed for it to no end.

haha. I wish they would make those buttons with a numer 1 and 2, customizable to any streaming service you want.
anti competition laws
LOL
Install TVQuickactions
Actually it would be great if the remote had programabile buttons, for example on my smart tv i have Netflix wich I use and rotten tv and one more that I don't want and don't need, would have preferred to have the option to program what apps those buttons to open not this garbage preset apps
Sir, this is a Wendy's
b/c backroom business deals and coercive licensing agreements
Button remap over app should help more, than this. But good job.
hm, your "white tape" seems to have completely dissolved the buttons.
problem solved?
I have a big glaring Netflix button on my remote..so annoying, not everyone uses Netflix.
It's called partership and that lowers the endprice for users
Yea wish the buttons were unbranded and were assignable to other apps or devices. Would love to have a button on my TV remote that also controls wifi speakers or lights
Active aggressive moves you got there.
This is the most petty thing Op...

damn your design makes the remote look cleaner with the white and black look. nice job
Ah yes the pesky App Shortcut Buttons. Some streaming device are not customizable. Like Roku which is a closed software so you can't remap those buttons. But android/google tv and fire tv app shortcut buttons are remappable.
Sounds like you're trying to hit buttons too fast. I never have that issue.
You can remap them to do nothing instead of damaging your remote.
I personally remap them to apps or features that I actually like on a remote.
Look up Button Mapper on the Play Store.
