I'm planing my outdoor projector setup. Android TV projector will have two speakers and I would like to somehow cast music via youtube app, but the screen/projecting should be off.
Is this possible or will projector automatically turn on projecting when content is being casted?
I solve this same problem by using one of those cheap HDMI splitters/audio extractors from Amazon. It has HDMI in and several outputs including spdif and rca audio (including HDMI pass through). Lets me play audio from my chromecast with the tv off.
