Stream games from Windows 10 PC to Android TV

by jk_ca

I just bought a new Hisense Android TV. I have a gaming PC located about 100 ft away from the TV and I’d like to stream games to it (mostly from Steam and Epic).

The PC is hard wired to my router and the TV is connected via WiFi. What’s the best way to do this? It’s out of range for casting, and I’m not sure how to use a game controller so far away from the PC.

Thanks!

Steam Link?

I didn’t know Steam Link had an Android TV app, I’ll check that out.

The only non-Steam game I’m looking to stream is Genshin Impact (with Epic), unfortunately I’ve tried it with Steam Link before and it doesn’t work very well.

I'm not sure about Epic but you can stream games from your PC using Steam and the Steam Link app downloaded from the Play Store.

you could try ge force now it works pretty well if you have amd graphic then you can use sunshine instead of moonlight its a fork of moonlight, there is also parsec but i am not sure if it has android tv app

Do you have an Nvidia or AMD gpu? I use the AMD Link app. For me it works way more reliably and way smoother than the Steam Link app.

If you have an Nvidia GPU , you can use Moonlight. Seems it's the best solution

I have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660. I tried Steam Link and it works, but the wifi by the TV is not great (I only get about 40 Mbps) so I need to figure that out first. I'll give Moonlight a try too once I fix the wifi issue. Thanks for all the advice!
