I have a Sony TV, and I’ve just discovered that Xfinity does not allow the Stream app in Google Play for download.

I read about sideloading, so I downloaded FX file explorer and was able to transfer the APK to the TV. It installed and opened successfully, but when I selected Sign In, it stated “there is no app for this”. I basically can’t sign into the app, so it’s unusable.

Are there other steps that need to be taken for sideloading this APK and signing in?
