Onn 4k remote issue

Question

So I just switched from a 3rd gen firestick to this guy and while the remote can control the volume/power of my sound bar it will only turn off one of three, my TV, stick, or soundbar but not all 3 at once. To clarify, when I pressed the power button on my firestick remote it turned off/on the TV and soundbar at the same time. So now I have to use my soundbar remote if I want to turn it on/off? Or am I missing something. I have a basic optic connected soundbar not HDMI.

Yes, I discovered the same thing.  I can get it to turn on/off my TV or my A/V receiver, but only one at a time.  I have all components connected to the A/V receiver so it and the TV both need to be on to watch TV.  The ONN requires me to select one or the other for the power button.  It won't power on/off both of them.
