Not sure if this is the right place to ask but as the title says, I'm using an old laptop attached to a monitor as a tv and I was wondering if I can use the spotify android tv app on windows because it's remote control friendly.

There is also a method of setting up Androd filesystem for Windows with the Play Store instead of the Amazon Store. If you are on Windows 11. https://ahaan.co.uk/article/top_stories/google-play-store-windows-11-install Works nicely https://imgur.com/p8kwDBn
Where'd you get the spotify tv app to begin with? Cant find it in play store
You can install this ( https://mega.nz/#!27pkxJQK!KTCw_guclAZHDP-bHCiQVhr81UHwBtd5ckRDYQhIBmg ) on your emulator. You can login to Spotify and control music playback using Spotify Connect.
No.
Just install the Android TV OS on the laptop in a virtual machine and then install Spotify Android TV in it.
