Is there a cbz reader app and or comixology on android tv?

by Double-Seaweed7760

I'd love to read my comics and manga on my TV, preferably using a cbz/cbr reader if possible. The only requirement for me is that I can flip pages using the remote(preferably using the left and right arrow buttons),otherwise a native comixology app would be good since I'm pretty sure that that would have the functionality. Any help would be great,ty.

I use Kavita to setup a server to read from my PC. You can manage and read manga/comics/books whatever from there directly in the browser. Make sure to have double-page mode enabled.

On my TV I use the TV Bro app to read (I've tried most browsers in the play store, none comes close to this one) with Buttons remapper app to customize my gamepad to flip pages (set 2 buttons for left and right portions of your screen respectively). I guess you can also use your remote it's just I feel more comfortable using the gamepad.

It looks great on my 65inch: https://i.imgur.com/qXoWzK2.jpg

I use a browser and read comics/manga via website. You can try that. Haven't found a proper app for this yet

I've never thought of reading stuff on the tv, but I'm thinking about it and I'm loving the idea.

Following this post to see what others say ;)

I know Astonishing Comic Reader used to have cast support. Haven't used it in a while, but see if that works for you
