I'm currently using Puffin web browser for streaming mainly pirate sport streams because that's what I found works the most painless. But it erks me to pay so much for it. I have a rather low end Realme 4K stick so efficiently is also high priority.

This thread seems to have been manufactured to promote the bro tv app. I've tried it, it's crap.
Try TV Bro browser and see if it fits your needs - it's available from Play Store 😊
My issue with all the browsers which I tested for far on Google TV is the resolution 960x540. I need HD. Does anybody know how to achieve this?
I tried all the browsers I could find a year or so ago.
A bunch are unusable without a mouse. Deal breaker for me, I wanted something that can be used with a remote.
A bunch route all their traffic through their own server. Huge wtf. This maybe made sense in the Palm PDA times when you needed a service to dumb down the internet for you to save bandwidth, processing, etc. Absolutely not needed now. And with that kind of service VON won't work.
Some couldn't handle video streaming. Of course I want video streaming. I'm not browsing the web here, I'm just navigating to a web page to stream video.
TV Bro won handily.
Open Browser. Best app i've found so far.
tv bro for me 👍
Use the app Web Video Cast on your phone or tablet to stream links from your phone to android tv.
Works very well. Even has an IPTV player.

Puffin paid version? I use the free version, works just fine. When it says you've reached daily limit (3hrs) just close and reopen the Puffin app. Save bookmarks, history and easy pointer browsing
TV Bro. Been great for me. Silk browser also good for Fire Stick.
Also, TV bro offers built in pop up/ad blocker
