I want to buy a Chromecast with Google TV to replace my Roku as the Roku doesn't support Twitch, and I hate the Amazon fire stick (times out way too quickly)
I want to make sure that Google TV definitely supports everything I use before I buy, some things say that any android app works, but then some have a list of supported apps and Twitch isn't there
Can anyone confirm whether Chromecast with Google TV supports ITV player, Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and Twitch?
Don't use the official Twitch app it's garbage, use [S0undTV GitHub ]( https://github.com/S0und/S0undTV/releases/latest)/ S0undTV [Google Play] or [SmartTV Client for Twitch GitHub ]( https://github.com/fgl27/SmartTwitchTV/releases/latest)/ SmartTV Client for Twitch [Google Play] instead.
I can confirm all the Apps you mentioned besides ITV Player (never used it since I’m in the US) do work on the Chromecast. I use Twitch on the regular with no issues for ex.
Try out Walmart’s ($20 USD) Onn 4K Android Dongle with Chromecast built in. It has Twitch
I don't know about ITV player i don't use it , every other app you've mentioned works for me on my ccwgtv .
