I've got a vacation rental and I need to get a new TV. I'd like to find an Android TV onto which I can install Netflix, then lock down the TV so that guests are limited to just TV and Netflix (and maybe casting from their device).
Do all Android TVs have something like this? Does parental mode solve this problem? Any recommendations for a device that solves this problem elegantly? TIA
I've had the same problems and thought Android TV would have a solution. My current solution has been providing a customized Android TV Home Screen and then pushing Chromecast as the way for the guest to use any of their own services from their phone.
My solution is definitely not easy and to get some options to work I had to use developer mode, so a mode you want would definitely be preferred.
Use the restricted profile mode. Than just let them have Netflix amd live TV.
Depending on make and model you need to find instructions on how to set Hotel mode
