I cannot find Stirr TV on the Play Store for either my Shield Pro or Onn 4k box. Any reason why as I thought the app was available for all Android devices.
Because its not optimised for android tv and cant be controlled with default DPAD remote.
If you can get the Fire TV version extracted by someone in /r/FireTV that one will work.
You will also need to ‘purchase’ the app in the Amazon store and sideload the Amazon AppStore to your Shield, so that you have the rights to use the app. Otherwise it will not proceed to run.

It has to support Android TV explicitly to appear in play store results on the device. You can try downloading the app on PC and side loading, but you might need a Bluetooth mouse to navigate it
