I´m considering buying one of these dongles but I´m wondering, what can I do with it besides the standard funciontality.
Would I be able to add a VPN app and browse other contents?
What intereting things can be added? I remember someone saying I could add a USB hub to add devices or storage but not sure If there are any resources to check this out.

Well, as for gaming you can download Steam Link from the Play Store (no sideloading like on FireTV) and use it to play your PC games on your TV.
You can also use it as a retro gaming machine by loading ROMs on it and using an emulator app (e.g. Retro Arch) and play games that way. If you're really interested in the gaming stuff, ETA Prime goes pretty in-depth with both the Chromecast with GoogleTV as well as Walmart's ONN devices on his YouTube channel.
I probably should also add that I'm pretty sure you can hook up a camera to it (via a dongle) and use it for video conferencing--I haven't bothered to try that, but I'm pretty sure I've seen folks do this.

Sure. Browsing isn't a great experience with a remote, but if you're just navigating to a web page to stream video it's fine.

It's just an Android TV device with a different UI and name so if you have had Android TV before it's the same old same old
Yes u can use vpn apps. U can, add USB drives Ethernet etc essentially anything usb, Bluetooth gampads u can also side load ( I use this for "smarttubenext" which is a YouTube ad blocking and sponsor skipping app and my iptv app that I have) the only limit with these nuggets is ur imagination and money.
