Delayed Response from Remote

by TangerineObvious8802

Hi, I recently got a SHARP AQUOS AndroidTV and I realise that the TV is not very responsive to the remote control, for instance it would take a couple of tries to switch the TV on.

The tech support told me that there is usually a lag of about 30s after power on/long standby, and that’s how the OS is working. Is this true? Just want to make sure my 4-day old TV is not defective. Thanks!

Yes it can be true if the software is poorly implemented, the standby load can rise and the CPU can be kept at a lower clock speed which allows the system to get behind so to speak.

TL;DR

I did not notice problems like that. TV set starting for first time little longer - like smartphone, but during a day , switching on is fast and responsible. I have Sharp 70DN5EA.

Remote is paired via Bluetooth.
