What is the best option? Im just looking to transform my tv into a smart tv: use Stremio, IPTV and maybe some gaming.
I dunno if the mecool km2 will have more updates, at least i know that google tv has, but i would need a usb hub to upgrade it, where as the mecool km2 i wouldnt need.
What is your opinion on the best?
I have/had both. Had the Mecool KM2. Be aware that you can't turn off always on HDR. In my case it made most of everything too dark for my taste. Besides that it worked just great until I had an power issue with it and had to return. I have the CWGT now and it works just great. Stremio, Syncler, IPTV all work just fine. IMHO, go the CWGT route.
I have 4 CCWGTVs and love them.
Some reasons you might choose the km2 (non-plus version) over the ccwgtv is if you want the ports (usb/microsd/spdif) or if you need native ntfs support.
CWGT for me anyday.. I have 2 of it and it's been fun all the way for me
