Doesn't matter what I do, it never finds the device on the network.

I've tried resetting the phone app, trying on a different phone, trying a different Android TV device, updating, etc.

Absolutely nothing works.

Does this the remote app use / require some specific router setting to work?

My Nvidia shield TV remote app works fine every time

Edit: Turned on IPV6 in my router. Had to reboot both the router and the modem twice for it to flush the system. Everything is working perfectly now.
