How well does the frame rate switching work on Android TV 12?

The auto frame rate switching seems like the main new feature of Android 12. Unfortunately, of all the reviews I read about the new Chromecast HD with Google TV nobody talks about it.

Those that have the new HD Chromecast with Android 12. How’s the frame rate switching? Is it supported in any of the big streaming apps? Does it have the same issues with 24p as the Fire Stick?

AFR doesn't work in big streaming apps, because it needs support in the app and big streaming apps don't have AFR. Try it for example with Just Video Player
