Looking for an Android Tv device with support for exFat disk as external storage

by Strikay12

Hi guys, I'm looking for Android Tv device to watch 4k media from Netflix, Prime Video etc... and also support exFat format as external storage, but I don't want to spend too much (like for an Nvidia Shield). What do you guys suggest? Do the ChromeCast with Google TV support external storage in exFat?

P.S. I buyed the FireTv Stick 4k Max but I saw that it can't read from my 2TB Hard Disk and I don't want to format it in FAT32 for the limitations that this format has.

P.S.2 I tryed to stream from my hard disk sharing the device from my PC and Kodi on FireTV but my wifi can't handle it.

your TV can handle and your wifi can handle, return firestick more money for Nvidia shield.

The CCwGTV only supports FAT32. I think you can adopt storage as well (which would make it ext4 but not really removable). Not sure if it accepts ext4 on a removable though.

You need to use ext4!

Xiaomi Mi Box S, supports ExFat hard drives. Usually run for $65-70 US.
