Hey yall! I am new here. So my dad and i bought in 2014 a Tronsmart smart tv and thing is the sistem is very old (4.4.4 i think) and youtube dosen t even work anymore and it has no updates. And so dad said he l get a new one and i want one as well. Any recommendations? Heard the Mi box s is pretty nice

Def Chromecast with Google tv but IMHO I'd get a external hard drive and a USB-C hub with it cause the storage isn't that big on the Chromecast...but you'll def get updates as soon as they're released from Google and not have to wait for the manufacturer to release an updated build
Check out the tivo stream 4k. It's cheap about the same price of a firestick. I'm using one asy main streaming device.y other 2 rooms have firesticks. The tive is faster and smoother and is Google certified. I've been using the tivo since it was first released. Never had a single problem. But like said above whatever you choose just make sure it's Google certified. I'm guessing your in another country, but if you need let me know I will send you a link for the tivo from Amazon.

I would recommend nvidia shield TV pro 2019,chromecast with google TV.
The MI box is now a bit dated device.
