You hold the home button and the menu pops up. The setting are then seen and you then click on it. Just go through the settings and click on device.
It's there. Developer mode has nothing to do with it. The setting button pop up under you picture at the upper-right corner of the main screen. There are options for notifications and settings.
If you want to add new channels, it's under settings> account & sign-in> your services
I noticed something. In android 10 TV there is a device option. In Android 12 it's been renamed to system. It's still there but under a new name. I've been confusing the onn android TV box with the chromecast one. Onn is android 10 while the chromecast is Android 12. I have both.
