So I bought a new smart TV and wanted to mirror my phone screen onto it. We don't have wifi, so I was hoping to use the app that most TVs have that allows casting without requiring wifi, presumably by creating a hotspot. The problem is that our TV doesn't have it and only has the option to cast by being on wifi. So I need any solution that can help with that, like an app that can help. I am ready to sideload it if needed, and a free solution would be appreciated.
There is no such app in my knowledge. An easy solution which I use as a daily driver is switching data on and creating hotspot in a 2nd phone and connecting the phone i will cast and the tv to that secondary phone hotspot. When both of the devices are connected to the same network i.e ur wifi hotspot it wil cast seamlessly. Hope it helps.
