Hi there I might be confused about the devices so I saw this form with a build of lineage os and was wondering if this is for the older chrome cast with Google tv model or the newer one I have the Google Chrome cast with Google tv hd I have access to unlocking the ome bootloader this chromecast was manufacturer on the 6/2022

The CCwGTV 4K can only run Lineage if you didn't update past the firmware it shipped with for the first few months. After that they closed down the access to the bootloader.
So my guess would be that the HD would be locked down out of the box just like the 4K is now.
But as others said, it is a different but very similar SoC in the HD, so it would still need a custom build for it anyway.
There's probably checks in place when you're flashing not to flash to your device, if it does work you'll most likely get a brick
The HD one has oem unlocking in developer options. Might be possible
I just bought the 4k ONN device two weeks ago. It does not have the option in developer setting to allow flashing and doing the fastboot bootloader unlock command errors out. Haven't investigated any farther than Lineage page for the device. Haven't looked if XDA has more up to date info.
I've been happy with the stock firmware with FLancher, don't feel the need to go farther for now.
