Hello there,

I’m looking for some assistance with troubleshooting my Sony Bravia XBR-75X950G. The television was suddenly stuck in a reboot cycle, where the Sony logo would pop-up, followed by the Android logos, and ultimately the AndroidTV text. Then, the system reboots unprovoked, and repeats what it did prior. All in all, this whole cycle takes about a minute.

Thinking it was time for a factory reset, I followed the recommended factory reset by pressing the Power Button and Down Arrow until the erasing circle appeared on the screen.

Now, the television is stuck in a factory reset cycle, where it will continuously factory reset, before projecting an Android error screen, and then restarting and doing the same thing.

Has anyone had this happen before? Not sure if this is a software or hardware issue.

I’ve attempted to update the firmware via USB but the TV does not seem to recognize the USB while in the factory reset screen.
