Maybe aliens are trying to communicate with you. Find a way to transmit back

MrKaon

It is tired.

I think the technical term is "it's fucked"

Have you tried switching it off and on again?

Maybe it´s scared of heights? ;)

Completely dead panel. Time for a replacement

It's a Poltergeist

I had a similar problem with a Samsung tv , the part to replace cost more than the tv , they need to change the board and that's what cost more

Had the exact same problem on a Sony. Replaced the entire tv under warranty.

it's scared of heights, and you've left it too close to the edge

I have run into this on 2 TVs- the fix is a new board but if you know your way around a soldering iron then it’s technically 9/10 times just a capacitor. If you open up back of tv to expose the board look for swelling in a capacitor. I’ve had this happen to a Sony and a Samsung tv. Installed new capacitor in 3 minutes and cost me $2-works good as new.
