I just picked up the Onn, super happy but I would like to be able to use Xfinity Streaming App. What is the best way to install?
The Onn box is a great, The Xfinity app has to be side loaded and finding a working one
Inquiry minds want to know.
What eventually worked for me was:
Version: 6.9.2.001 (60902001)
Package: com.xfinity.cloudtvr.tenfoot
I downloaded from apkmirror to phone and used "Send Files to TV" app (installed on both devices - free).
If you want a regular icon (not hidden in Sideload Launcher) you can easily build one at this site: http://atvlauncher.trekgonewild.de/index.php
Just give it a name like XF Stream Icon, enter the package name as above, find a logo (the logo from the newest apk's in purple look better), upload it & click Generate. This will give you a new apk you install that links to the full apk you installed earlier to give a nice icon with your regular app icons. Good luck - all works well for me.
