I have to completely kill the power to my Philips occasionally. I put a smart switch on it so I can not just park it (off button), but disconnect it from power (switch) when not in use. Clears the cache and everything works much better.

I have mainly noticed it in DRTV (from Denmark) as well as YouTube. It is not always, but I would say half of the times. Once I start something and it start blinking it will continue.

Anyone who have seen something similar?

I had something similar yesterday with Viaplay on my Phillips. Black screen in the app suddenly but with normal sound. The first time Android completely restarted. After that 2 times a black screen from which I could recover by restarting the Viaplay app. No clue what caused it yet.

Mine did the same thing a couple of days ago. I just cut off the power and plugged in again, then the blinking stopped. My tv is also a Android Philips

Try something else rather than streaming to see if it's the tv or the internet connection...

Thanks for the advises. I always take the power each night, so i gets a hard reset often.

Years ago I had a similar problem with a different brand tv. Turned out it didnt like certain input. Try fiddling with 1080i or 1080p, 50hrtz or 60 hrtz etc.

Hi, I noticed the same issue, when I removed my UPS. It seems that it is related to fluctuations on the power grid. When I put my ups back, the issue fixes itself. I check with my UPS software and found out that I had fluctuations in my power and some times the currency drops below 210V. Hope it helps.

Are you using the apps on the tv or like a firestick? If you are using the tv's apps try a firestick and see if it still happens.

Any solution yet? I am noticing it in Viaplay app on Philips Android TV since the Premier League returned. Before the brake, everything was normal.
