I have an r646, it works great

The only bug I have is sometimes when using the built in apps it just shuts down. Annoying but it only happens once every few weeks and the picture is amazing so it's worth it to me.

I'm a relatively new user and haven't had any troubles yet. But my wife and I love this damn TV. She hasn't never been interested nor cared but now she wants another for the bedroom.

Compared to my Hisense H9G that I paid the same price for 1.5yrs ago...this TV f'n rocks.

I have a TCL 5 series with Google TV, but I use Apple TV connected to it. Love the TV and never had any issue until about a month ago when they pushed the latest update for Google TV. I’m constantly having issues now where when I power the Apple TV on it doesn’t turn the TCL TV on with it or when it does it doesn’t go to the Apple TV input but goes to the Google TV Home Screen which I never use nor want to use. Reached out to google and they are aware that the latest update is causing issues with TCL tvs for people who use third party streaming devices like Apple TV and others. They even have a banner on the Google TV help page that announces they are aware of the issue on TCL TVs with the latest Google TV update. Just an annoyance right now until an update is pushed out. Hopefully soon, but it’s already been 2 months without any fix so who knows how long it will be. But if you plan on using just Google TV and not a third party streaming device, then this information is irrelevant.

Don't do it, my series 7 sucks.

maybe the series 10 are better but I would not get TCL again.
